Active Circle announces interoperability with Sony Opsigate content management system

Active Circle and Sony will target Corporate, Education and Health Care sectors

with integrated content and storage management solution

Jouy-en-Josas, June 27th, 2011 – Active Circle and Sony are announcing today the integration of Active Circle storage and archive management solution and Sony Opsigate Media Asset Manager. The combined solution is aimed at helping customers in the Corporate, Education and Healthcare industries manage and store large amount of multi-media content.

The Opsigate system is a comprehensive web-based content management and delivery system that helps to organize and distribute various forms of digital content (such as video, still images, audio files, and PC documents) from a single manageable database.

The Active Circle storage and archiving system is a software-based application providing a distributed, tiered and secured storage environment to applications like Opsigate. Active Circle runs on standard hardware and offers HSM (Hierarchical Storage Management) on disk and LTO tape, off-site replication, integrity check and version management.
