ACTIVE MEDIA EXPLORER
Active Media Explorer
AME, or Active Media Explorer, simplifies the management and access to your media archives. It's a user-friendly interface for indexing, searching, viewing, and restoring content. Based on Active Circle technology, it leverages the advantages of this solution, including long-term file storage, reduced storage costs, and infrastructure simplification.

Connect to the AME
Using a web browser, connect to the server address: http://IP_address
The default username is: admin / 1234.
Once logged in, you will arrive directly at the AME homepage.
Search for a media
To search for media, simply enter one or more keywords in the simple search at the top right of your screen.
You can choose the type of media you are looking for in order to limit the search to your needs.
The AME will display the corresponding results.

Consult a media outlet
To view a media item, simply click on it.
A window then opens and displays all the information relating to this media, namely the technical metadata but also all the information that you may have entered beforehand.
Editing a media's metadata
Editing the metadata of a media is subject to editing rights which are configured for a user group.
If you have this right, click on the "Edit" button located to the right of the preview on the media viewing page in order to edit its metadata.

Send to... a media outlet
The AME allows you to "Send to..." media, that is, to restore them to a remote FTP server.
To do this, add the media file(s) to the selection by clicking the appropriate button, then in the tools choose "Send to...". Finally, choose a destination, the resolution, the source, and start the transfer.
